The blocking have to be taken into account for the proper wind speed adjustment with vehicle.

The calibration of wind speed to the vehicle is based on the stagnation point method. From the static pressure at the stagnation point the effective wind speed can be determined. The location of the stagnation point can be determined with a smoke sensor.

At this point the dynamic pressure is measured and compared with the nozzle differential pressure. From this an additional vehicle factor kF is determined and adapted to the nozzle factor kD. This calibration will be done before the testing programm starts.

The wind speed is identified about the corrected nozzle differential pressure.
